ALEXIS F. MOSSER

Ms. Mosser has represented clients in civil litigation matters across the country. Her practice areas include patent litigation, business and commercial litigation, appeals, banking, civil rights, fiduciary matters, non-consent towing, real estate matters, securities, shareholder disputes, and takings claims.  She also has experience counseling patentees and businesses regarding intellectual property, and negotiating on her clients' behalf with state and federal administrative bodies.

Ms. Mosser is admitted to practice in all Texas State Courts as well as the United States District Court for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the Federal Circuit, and the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Before attending law school Ms. Mosser was a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy.   She served on the U.S.S. O'Brie out of Yokosuka, Japan and was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, the National Service Defense Medal, and the Global War on Terror Service Medal.

Ms. Mosser graduated with honors from the University of Texas School of Law, where she and her teammate won the the Giles Sutherland Rich Moot Court national championship.  She also served as the Articles Editor of The Review of Litigation.  While at UT Ms. Mosser was admitted to the Order of Barristers, and was awarded the Justice Mack Kidd Award for Appellate Advocacy.  After earning her J.D., Ms. Mosser continued her legal studies, earning an L.L.M in Intellectual Property and Information Law.
